Testimonials

“Ruth has both an artist’s eye and a true work ethic.  She transformed the no man’s land behind our city home into a beautiful miniature garden, using re-purposed logs from our fallen tree to make a raised bed for a vegetable garden.  She also incorporated other natural features, including a rock wall, to maximize the beauty of our tricky yard. Over the years she has worked with us to maintain and enhance our urban space.  She is a gifted, creative and hardworking landscape artist!”

“When I was first met Ruth my garden was a mess – over grown, with none of the plantings thriving or making any sense to the look of the garden. Ruth came in and made wonderful recommendations on how to get the look of the garden I wanted. She was thorough, neat, and instinctively knew when the garden needed pruning. Soon I had Ruth planting my window boxes and planters. Ruth reaches out to me just when I am about to contact her. The amount of work she completes is very impressive and she is so neat in her task. Besides the obvious pruning of the garden, I barely know she has been here. I also love the fact that since I know so little about flowers and plants, she always has ideas to help improve the look of the garden, so I feel it is a partnership. She does all of this very reasonably priced and timely. I am very excited after this winter that I will soon have Ruth back and bring sunshine to my garden and porch.”

“Ruth has been our gardener in Cambridge for many years.  She has magically transformed the gardens at our home making them lovely, full of color, and beauty.  Ruth has also helped me with my gardens in Sandwich, NH. I had two new garden beds that needed her magic touch. The gardens were just dirt and I wanted to fill them with perennials that would bloom from April to October.  Ruth designed such a garden.  She designed a garden with a map of where each plant should be planted. I was able to follow her plan, plant, and create a magnificent perennial garden with amazing flowers, daylilies, iris, phlox, bee balm, coneflowers, saliva, new york aster, hydrangea, and so much more!  The garden is still blooming and it is almost October. Thank you Ruth for your amazing garden design and knowledge of plants.  Everyday I am in awe of the beauty of my new perennial gardens. I can’t wait for the garden to bloom again year after year.”
